Volunteers & Internships
Volunteer at ACFM
Do you believe in supporting local farmers and artisans, and increasing food access in Aloha and unincorporated Washington County? Are you looking for a way to give back to your local community? Do you (or does your school-aged child) need to obtain volunteer hours? We are always in need of volunteers to make ACFM happen each week!!
Volunteering is easy and takes just a few hours, whether one Thursday a summer or multiple. And we will make it easy by making sure you’re well-prepared and by working with you and your available days/times! Internship at ACFM
Aloha Community Farmers’ Market (ACFM) internship program offers work-based learning, mentorship and skill development focused on the local farm to market economic system. Interns are able to work on a variety of projects each season. Internships include set activities and additional opportunities to gain knowledge about our field of work (ages 16 and older).
Interns bring their perspective, hopes, questions and vision. Together we’re creating a marketplace to support small and even micro local businesses in order to help regenerate the agricultural community in unincorporated Washington County.
